Driving Etiquette

Visiting Glacier National Park always involves spending time in your vehicle, often driving along high-traffic roads, like the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road. Everyone is here to witness the beauty of the scenery and majesty of wildlife (when you're lucky enough to catch a sighting), but it's still important to be courteous of other vehicles along the way. Anthony shares some important driving etiquette to keep in mind while you're behind the wheel.

When you’re driving in Glacier National Park or any national park, there’s a few pieces of road etiquette that you should keep in mind. First and foremost, please abide by all posted speed limits. Another piece of information that a lot of people don’t realize is that if you have three cars behind you it is actually against the law to not pull over and let them pass. Yeah, there’s a lot of places on the road where you can pull over and respectfully let the people behind you go by. That way everyone gets to have an enjoyable experience and nobody gets frustrated.
