Q: I am currently a member, what happens to my existing account on January 1st?
A: Thanks for being a member! We have already rolled your existing membership into the new system at a comparable level. IE: $500 “Rocky Mountain Goat” members are now Family members. Use your existing code with two zeros added to enrol in courses starting January 1st. EX: 12345 is now 0012345

Q: What is an Educational Day Program?
A: These are our in-depth educational courses led by a subject expert out of our Field Camp location. Topics include wildflowers, mushrooms, medicinal plants, bears, geology, etc.

Q: Can I give a membership as a gift?
A: Absolutely, yes! You will be gifting free access to over 25 different courses, which is a pretty awesome gift!

Q: Can I attend Multi-Day or Guided Day Hikes for free as well?
A: Membership does not grant you free access to Multi-Day Programs, Guided Day Hikes, Youth Programs, or Personalized Educational Tours.

Q: I liked the old way, why change?
A: We’re really working to build up our local Glacier Institute “family,” and want to make it easier for locals to attend multiple courses over the year and deepen their knowledge and connection to this beautiful place we get to share.
