It’s time for another staff introduction! Everyone, please meet Liz Heneghan, one of our outstanding Outdoor Education Specialists for this season!

Role: Outdoor Education Specialist
Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio
University: The Ohio State University #BuckeyeForLife

Liz, better known as Lizard, brings a calm and collected demeanor to staff, thanks to her ability to use cloud watching and nature journaling to center herself. No stranger to Glacier, she comes to us after two seasons with our friends and fellow GNP partners, the Glacier Conservancy!

Liz Heneghan, hails from Cleveland, Ohio, and holds a B.S. in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University. She is passionate about making the outdoors a safe, inclusive, and fun space for all and advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the environmental field. Liz hopes to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature and to explore the outdoors.

Outside of work Liz enjoys gardening, swimming and playing Animal Crossing. Our team identifies Liz’s special skills as thrifting, fire building, and finding the coolest earrings to wear. We also think that she has great taste in music, so give her a shout if you need any recommendations.
