Denny Olson, a.k.a. “Critterman,” earned his M.S. in Zoology with a minor in Geology. He is a writer, actor and television personality. His master’s theses on loons led to a census technique still used in Minnesota
and Wisconsin. He has published numerous books including Shared Spirits: Wildlife and Native Americans, Special Gifts: In Search of Love and Honor, Cougars: Solitary Spirits, Wisdom Warrior, and Way of the Whitetail.
