Photography is an incredible tool we can use to connect ourselves, and others, with nature while tapping into our own individual creativity and imagination. Campers will learn some tips and tricks to frame the perfect shot while we practice our skills out on the trails of Glacier National Park. Cameras will be supplied to students Thier photos will be sent home on USB drives to share the adventure and memories.

What’s Included in your Trip Fee: All meals, lodging, transportation, and fun!
**Please let us know as soon as possible if your child has any special requirements (dietary, medical, physical, etc.) so we may meet their needs. You may send snacks with your child, but all food must be stored in special bins in the Mess Hall to avoid any curious critters visiting our bunkhouses.

What to Expect On Your Photography | 3-Day Summer Youth Camp
Campers will spend time exploring a variety of trails in the Flathead National Forest. We will stop often to learn about the amazing natural history of the area. All campers will be taught trail etiquette, how to stay hydrated, and Leave No Trace principles.
Camp Details
- This Glacier Institute program meets at Big Creek Outdoor Education Center.
- The program will begin 4 p.m. on day 1 and ends 10 a.m. on the final day. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
- There is a maximum number of 24 campers per camp.
- This program has a minimum guest count of 3 people. In the unlikely case we don’t reach that number, you will be notified prior to the event.

What to Bring
We spend as much time as possible outside in the sun, rain, snow, wind, and mud, and there are a few important gear items you are going to need. Labeling your belongings with your name is a fantastic way to make sure they all make it home with you. We do not have the ability to do laundry at our facility, so please pack accordingly.
