Introduction to Fly Fishing Adult / Youth

Some of the best memories are made outdoors and fly fishing is one of those timeless activities that can bond generations for a lifetime. If you’ve been looking for a way to pull the young person in your life away from their devices and into the stunning landscape of Glacier Country, this is your moment.

This introductory fly fishing class is designed specifically for adult-youth pairs.

What You’ll Learn We’ll cover everything you need to get started: equipment, techniques,
reading the water, and how to actually have a great time chasing fish. Our focus will be on
stillwater fishing, ponds and lakes, where beginners find early success and lasting confidence.

Then We’ll Put It Into Practice The class takes place at the Glacier Institute’s Nature Center property, where you’ll have the chance to try your new skills at the on-site ponds. There’s nothing like your first cast in the shadow of Glacier National Park.
