Hike Overview

July 21-23, 2026
Ages 11-13

This camp is designed for experienced young fly anglers who are ready to level up their skills! We’ll refine casting techniques, introduce advanced rigging and fly selection, and dive deeper into stream ecology, entomology, and fish behavior. Campers will spend plenty of time on the water in and around Northwest Montana, targeting some of the region’s most iconic species while learning how to read water, adapt to conditions, and fish more independently.

The highlight of the week comes on the final day, when campers will enjoy a guided half-day float on the Lower Flathead River, putting their new skills to the test while experiencing one of the area’s premier fisheries from the boat. Fly fishing in and around Glacier National Park offers an unmatched classroom, and this course challenges older kids to fish smarter, more confidently, and more responsibly. Spots are limited—register soon!
