Every adventure kicks off from the base camp, and our new monthly giving program is that reliable launch point for the Glacier Institute and the thousands of people that experience our outdoor education programs each year.

The Glacier Institute is an IRS designated 501(c) (3) corporation and your contribution is deductible to the extent allowed by the law and reduced by any discounts in course fees or book purchases that you receive. Our federal tax ID# is 36-3345632 and our Montana state tax ID# is 073990.

Le Grizz Ultramarathon, Relay, 10k, and 5k
Join us for the 45th annual Le Grizz Ultramarathon and Races with great awards, fried chicken, shotgun start, and bear spray.
Race lengths include the grueling 50-mile, 50-mile Relay, 10k, and 5k. The event is held annually on the 2nd Saturday of October, rain or shine.
This year, it's about more than the miles run. Runners are invited to support the Glacier Institute, which aims to raise $25,000 to support youth programs at Big Creek.

Did you know we have our own custom license plate? This is an easy way to support the Glacier Institute by simply registering your vehicle in Montana. When you choose our license plate, $30 goes to support our mission to strengthen connections to the natural world through outdoor education.
