Do you have a girl between the ages of 12-14 with interest in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and  Math?
 
Apply now to participate in this four-day camp free of charge*. Participation is limited to 12 participants. 

Camp Details

During a four-day, overnight camp, participants will learn from Glacier National Park, U.S. Geological Survey, and Glacier Institute staff about Glacier’s changing landscapes. Through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), your child will document changes to Glacier’s landscapes as well as learn life-long skills in leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Summer 2021 Dates & Times

The Middle School Girls STEAM Camp will be held July 6-9, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 and ending at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021.

STEAM Camp Location

The camp is based out of our Big Creek Outdoor Education Center, located 22 miles north of Columbia Falls along the North Fork of the Flathead River, adjacent to Glacier National Park.

Application Information

We are currently soliciting applications for this amazing experience. We are looking for a diverse pool of candidates from the regional area and across Montana. Applicants from other states may apply, but preference will be given to Montana residents. We envision this camp to be engaging, full of learning, and fun and hope to recruit participants who are interested in STEAM-related fields and being leaders in sustainability.

Applicants will be considered based on answers to application questions and in order of applications received. Applying early is encouraged. Any applications received after the due date will be reviewed if the course is not filled.
