While photographers flock to Glacier National Park's many scenic overlooks to capture spectacular sights during the day, the views within Glacier are equally spectacular at night. Class participants will be expected to have a camera that they already know how to use, as well as a sturdy camera tripod, and a cable release (or camera setting) that allows the photographer to capture an image with an exposure time of at least 5 minutes in length. Discussions will include a general orientation to the night sky including instruction on the different ways to capture images of the sky and landscape at night. Through out photography we will attempt to capture the natural beauty Glacier National Park is preserving that only occurs overhead after the sun goes down.
